Announcement – Yakezie Challenge

Posted on February 19, 2012 8 Comments

Ready to start a new challenge!

And now for a quick announcement: I’m joining the Yakezie Challenge! It’s a “behind the scenes” commitment that will keep me focused and help me to grow my blog, not unlike a training plan for a half-marathon. And heck, if I can do one of those I can surely hit my blogging goals, right? Wish me luck and welcome to all the new Yakezie visitors that I hope will visit the site!

Welcome to the Yakezie challenge, I’m new as well. I enjoyed in February.

By the way my goal is to run a half marathon too.

Anna, Lorilla, I used Hal Higdon’s novice plan. I tried it once before and got injured b/c I didn’t have a good enough base and had no knowledge of recovery or strength training. Once I learned all those important lessons, I again took on the half-marathon and finished it with no problems. Lorilla, happy to provide any answers you have about running once you start training :)
