Pretty cool article in the Chicago Tribune today about free financial advice in the city. I might have to check this out!

Imagine a coffee shop that holds free yoga nights.
Or a bakery that also offers free conference room rentals to the public.
Unorthodox, yes, but all of that is possible at Next Door, a free — except for the coffee — financial advising center, cafe and workspace in a former Barnes and Noble at 659 W. Diversey Parkway in Chicago.
That’s where Jessica Carter spends her workday mingling with clients and floating around her office playground of sofas, long meeting tables and private coaching pods.
Carter, a Next Door financial coach and self-proclaimed “Suze Orman wannabe,” roams the space, working on her laptop but also making herself available for advising sessions at any time to help community members do everything from budget, plan affordable vacations, get out of debt or research cheap wedding ideas …
