Loving it…

Hello from Houston! This plane ticket was seriously the best $250 I ever spent. It’s 85 degrees, sunny and I’m hanging by the saltwater pool. My cousins introduce me to gorgeous Houston spring weather and poolside margaritas, I introduce them to homemade Irish car bombs (Guiness + Baily’s – the most politically incorrect shot you can buy) in honor of St. Patty’s day.
Though I miss my annual pub crawl in coordinated kelly green, I’m loving my little Houston getaway. I should definitely do this more often…

Although I love to travel but never have I ever considered Houston for a holiday. However you have sold this destination to me and I am considering to book it right away.

That sounds amazing! I could use some warm, spring weather right about now. I have also never considered Texas as a vacation destination, but maybe I’ll think about it! Enjoy!

I’m actually from Houston, and going to visit Chicago in a few days. I’m excited about going (never been) but sad to leave behind this gorgeous weather! Have a great time while you’re here!

I spent three years in Houston before moving back to the DC area a year ago…oh how I miss the warm weather, BUT the first little yellow daffodil poked its head out in our front yard this week, so hopefully warmer weather is on the way soon. Enjoy your family!
