Making Up for the Little Things
Posted on August 15, 2006 5 Comments
I spent a lot this weekend on a friend’s wedding: new shoes, new dress, hotel room and wedding gift. I may also have felt a certain gratitude for the amazing skils of my server Dario (the greatest wedding server ever) and may have given him a $20 tip.
So of course I felt guilty today (not over the shoes, though, it was buy one get one half-off at Famous). As punishment, I put $100 extra into my savings account and then topped it off with a three-mile run. I feel better now.
Sick and twisted, I know.

Don’t beat yourself up too much; you had fun at your friends wedding and tipped well for good service. Its funny what a good run will do too!

Weddings are black holes for money.
But isn’t that what we are investing for?
Time with family and friends?

You know what they say…what goes around comes around. You may feel guilty about spending too much money for a friend’s wedding, but it’s a worthy investment (assuming that you are not forgoing food for the week as a result!). Your friends will not forget your generosity when it comes time for your wedding!

I need a small help or suggestion from you, my friend Jolie has referred you. All what I am looking is a tool which can help me in managing my budgets. I have searched at various places, but I am not able to decide which will be good for me as I am not familiar with all these things.
I am looking for some free tools, as I won’t be able to afford any paid ones.
Hope you will help me.

If its the wedding of a close friend then its worth it.
But if you go to every wedding and spend much on dressing and everything for every wedding then its not right, at my point of view.
