Tomorrow (Monday, April 18), financial planner and author Tripp Friedler will be posting an entry on my site and answering your questions via the “comments” section.

Friedler will do the posting as part of a “Blog tour” to promote his new book, Free Gulliver: Six Swift Lessons in Life Planning ($19.95, Trost Publishing), so you might see him turn up in a few other places tomorrow as well. However, he’s going to be posting here with Budgeting Babes in mind, so don’t hesitate to ask him specific questions that we all can learn from. For instance:
I can’t stop buying Jimmy Choos at $500 a pop…help!” or “My job pays well but I hate it; what should I do?” or “My mother still insists on keeping all my finances for me, but I’m all grown up…how can I separate myself from her finances?” or “How can I become rich in a man’s world?” – all fair game.

In his book, Friedler is big on interactive exercises that involve writing to ensure your goals are locked in – which is similar to what we’re trying to accomplish on The Budgeting Babe (and on other personal finance sites, including AllThingsFinancial and SimplifyMyLife).

One last note; from a legal standpoint, consider this a disclaimer: if you follow Friedler’s advice and it doesn’t work out, you can’t sue me. My site’s purpose, many of you know, is an outlet to help me reach my own goals while sharing my successes and mistakes.
