Fading out

I’ve been working far too much this week. I’ve been spending far too much this week. My budget is out of whack. I haven’t done my taxes. My cat won’t stop meowing right now. I need a new suit. Can I please sleep?
My head is so jumbled… lately things have been so hectic. I need a day off. Last night I fell asleep at 9p.m. and awoke at 10a.m. this morning.
Who am I to give you tips about keeping your life in order when mine is so cluttered? I’m not offering tips until I get myself back on track…I feel like a fraud otherwise. Meanwhile, here are a few fun money-related quiz sites I recommend checking out:
iVillage: Are you a conscious spender? (Quiz)
http://quiz.ivillage.com/home/tests/consciousspender.htm
My result was:
“Waking Up to Good Habits
You’re getting there! You have some habits that are moving your finances in the right direction, but your dreams are still a little out of reach. Do a little more of what you are already doing — being aware of what you want and where your money is going. Try making it easy on yourself by setting up automatic savings plans and avoiding temples of temptation, whether that means keeping out of shoe stores or chucking catalogs before you read them.”
Tickle: Which Executive are You? (Quiz)
http://web.tickle.com/tests/standard/executive.jsp?test=executive
My result was:
“VP of Personnel:
You really get what makes people tick, and you’re an expert at navigating even the most complex interpersonal relationships. A natural counselor, you know just what to say in every circumstance — “tact” could be your middle name. No one’s better at handling potentially sticky situations. Plus, you’ve got a great sense of fun, which means you’d really get a kick out of planning morale-boosting activities and parties. It’s all part of your creative, outgoing nature. You really like making people happy and turning wherever you are — home or office — into a happy place to be. No doubt about it, there’s a promotion in your future. So keep up the good work! “
Tickle: What’s your Financial Theme Song? (Quiz)
http://web.tickle.com/tests/financialsong/?test=financialsongogt
My result was:
“She works hard for the money
In your world, there are no shortcuts, just hard work. Plain and simple. And we have to admire you for that. Whether it’s pulling the late shift at the local diner or taking on another project at the office, we’d guess you’re rarely one to say, “No,” when it comes to work.
Maybe it’s because you know what it’s like not to have money, and you have no intention of going there again. To you, there’s nothing worse than laziness, and we’d guess it drives you crazy to see people around you who aren’t pulling their weight. But have no fear, your late hours and dedication won’t go unnoticed. In fact, they are sure to reward you in the end.”
You know? I feel better after taking a few of these silly tests and the results were pretty on-target. Good luck with your results!

Sometimes your life can be a bit hectic or out of order. In some ways, that is independant of your ability to give tips or advice.

Excuse my language, but a Ja Rule song once very simply explained, “Life’s a bitch depending on how you treat her.”
I’ve found when you admit you are having a bad day, and let it get to you, it keeps getting worse.
It seems you have finally the stress get to you. Take charge of your situation, get past it and win the battle by not admitting defeat!
No amount of sympathy will improve you situation, only your own persistence!
