I'm 36 (so technically a Gen Xer) but I'm right on the cusp and I've found that my experience is more in line with Gen Next. I defintely feel that I'm in a holding pattern - as do my peers. I work at a company that people stay at their whole career but it's getting ridiculous - there are people here celebrating their 50th anniversary! They are 70 years old! And that's for mid-level jobs, not even upper management. Thank you for sharing the articles! I think many of us from all age groups are on hold right now. I know people who are afraid to retire and have several friends hating their jobs, but have nowhere to go. I have a feeling things aren’t going to improve much this year. Sorry to hear you are going through a hard time. Hope your health is getting better. Will defiantly be thinking about you.
