Last year, frustrated with how to account for a small capital gain we received from one of our investments, I decided to use Turbo Tax. I loved it. It is so easy to use and time saving. Plus, it accounted for an additional $800 tax credit I hadn’t been aware of. The only down side was the program was pricier than I expected, around $70. I’ve already purchased and used the deluxe addition for this year. It cost me $53.10 at Best Buy with a 10% off coupon. I was disappointed to learn it will cost me an additional 19.95 to file with my state; I can print the forms and mail them for free though and is probably what I will do.
