It took alittle getting used to the lack of zip, but the fuel economy and comfort make up for it. I get 51 mpg during the summer and 48 in the winter. Usually on the highway it's always 28 and up, but in stop and go traffic (and in 1st and 2nd gear) the fuel efficiency goes down to like 17. As much as I hate seeing prices going up to $5 a gallon it still is not much compared to $4 a liter or more. I was born and raised in Europe and gas prices here are still cheaper than overseas. Even Canada has high gas prices. I was just thinking how I will need to adjust my gas budget since I do not see prices dropping below $3 any time soon.
