We couldn't find replacement sandals (no one sells white sandals in late August) so we super glued the strap together. The sandal strap is still holding as of today. I find I can have tons of shoes in my closet and have nothing to wear on my damn feet! Black dressy shoes are the perfect example. I'd keep getting cheap 15-30 dollar shoes to fill a black dressy shoe void. I must have spent 300 dollars before giving in and buying 80 dollar shoes that I wear all the time. Cheap shoes are a HUGE waste of money. It’s not just about comfort. I find I can have tons of shoes in my closet and have nothing to wear on my damn feet! Black dressy shoes are the perfect example. This weekend, I was planning to go buy some running shoes. I looked around and the really good ones that will work best for me are $70 and up. I was trying to spend maybe $30 on a no name pair. I'm thinking maybe to go a little higher so I don't wreck my knees! It’s funny you write this. This weekend, I was planning to go buy some running shoes. I recently started a new job and have to get new shoes because the ones I have been wearing are fashionable but unconfortable. So I went shoe shopping today and like you I did not want to spend more than $20 but I could not find the kind of shoes I needed for $20 or less. Usually I shop at Payless Shoes and can catch a sale on some great shoes. I feel the pain.
