That sounds pretty crappy but I imagine things are just fine now. I just returned from a trip with my family to attend my sister's wedding. She's a 30 something with the same notion that she would, indeed, never get married. It does happen and her husband is terrific. You're terrific and just wait for someone as terrific. The reason I know you're terrific? Knotting Hill. Yep, I'm a guy and it gets me every time. Unfortunately, a smart and responsible girl who has a penchant for witty British romantic comedies isn't insurance that you'll find the right guy but I'd imagine it does increase your odds! Congratulations on not buying anything at the M of America. I agree that the roller coaster would add confusion to the buying/selling experience.

Jerry
www.leads4insurance.com Everyone deserves a good cry in Crate & Barrel. AND you don't put useless crap on a registry, you only get things you want/need/like.

We just returned ~$500 worth of stuff from our shower. BB&B is the best, because you get cash for the returns. Carson's will only give you a store credit (but they do have funiture stores.) I have 3 nieces and nephews who are married, 2 with children and one who is getting married in August. As the 32 year old yet to be married aunt - it is hard. But, you have to keep your head up and know that it will happen for you too! I can relate! I have 3 nieces and nephews who are married, 2 with children and one who is getting married in August. Having everything you want isn't enough? You need it to be gifts from other people? [My now-husband and I both owned homes already (with plenty of stuff in them) when we got married. Not a big deal.] Oh my goodness. Having everything you want isn’t enough? You need it to be gifts from other people? Something about that phrase, my LITTLE brother...... While I'm joyful for him and his new wife (someone I introduced him too, no less!!) I'm a left wondering when it will ever be my turn. And I'm living with my wonderful boyfriend of four years. Channel Kurt and Goldie....the most important thing is the wonderful relationship, not the wonderful wedding. The only thing I can say now after marrying later than all my friends is that since we did have lots of the stuff people usually buy for shower or wedding gifts, people gave us really cool stuff---like gift certificates to the 5 star French restaurant in our town and Home Depot and Lowes gift cards. My boyfriend and I have been together 5 years and with 6 weddings on the calendar for this year I feel like by the time we ever get married we'll have everything we need (we already bought the condo) and people will be 'over' weddings.

So what you/we have to do is just look at all the positive, think that because while you're in a committed relationship you're not tied down by kids yet and you can travel the globe (think Ireland).

:) hope your week goes better!
