I bought one. I tried food, catnip, took off the brush and wiped it over their backs, and even tried walking (dragging is more like it) my cats through it. No deal. It just sits there mocking me while all my furniture, rugs and clothes gather the LONG black and white hairs from Malcolm, Arthur and Simon. Maybe your cat will cooperate. But I was downstairs at working getting lunch.
Luckily by the time I'd come back up my bank had called (even before I realized my wallet was gone, my beautiful DKNY wallet, too). He got all of my credit cards, lisence, and my social security card (big no-no, I know).
Whoever got away with mine charged upwards of $2,000 before I even noticed.
So the lesson I learned was 1) always keep your purse zipped and 2) only take the credit cards you know you'll use that day OMG! My wallet got stolen when I was living in New Orleans (imagine that) and then we started getting a bunch of hang-up calls at home, followed by messages left by some creepy old man who offered to "drop off" my bank card that he alleged to have "found just lying in the street" - not in a wallet or anything, just lying in the street. Thankfully, it still had my IL license in it, so he wasn't able to get my proper Louisiana home address, but he did get my home phone number ... but just another tip...

PS - LOVE the posts ...keep 'em coming!
